They pressured Coloma into mistakes and made baskets off their turn-overs. Vicksburg has begun to play better and hopefully will keep this rolling into the play-offs.

Vicksburg Hangs On to Beat Three Rivers

The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished it. The did however make it interesting at the end by mishandling the ball several times and letting Three Rivers get close.

Vicksburg Destroys Comstock in Basketball

They turned the ball over and we took advantage of their mistakes as we outscored them 2 to 1. We had everyone on our team score as we shared the ball. We played good team basketball. We will have to play team basketball in order to advance into the play-offs.

Otsego Pulls Away from Vicksburg in Final Minute

It was homecoming in Vicksburg and the Vicksburg Bulldogs game them a game to remember. We (Vicksburg) were ahead in the 3rd quarter and only down by four with two minutes to go. In fact if we hit a couple more free throws and take care of the ball we would have won the game.

Dowagiac Defeats Vicksburg in Shootout

The Bulldogs got off to a fast start and led at the end of the first quarter. The Dowagiac Cheiftains took over in the 2nd quarter and held the lead the rest of the way. It was a close game until the end.

Sturgis Basketball Defeats Marshall

I have been following their team on the internet because it is the first team we play in the district play-offs. I am hoping we can win districts this year for the first time in a long time in Vicksburg. The Sturgis team has two pretty good players. One player is an all-state forward that is going to Western next year to play football. Hopefully we can beat them to move to the district championship. We play next Wednesday in Three Rivers.
