Michigan Wolverines offer No. 1-ranked basketball recruit in the state for 2015, Arthur Hill's Eric Davis
scholarship offers having been coming in left and right for eric davis. michign is his most recent offer. he has atleast ten div 1 basketball offers. alot of interest from some big name schools in ucla michigan kansas kentucky. eric davis excells in using the pick and roll and pilling up for the 15 footer but he can also finish at the rim as well as shoot the three. he will have to play a point guard in college even though know hes more of a combo guard he will have to stop looking for his shot so much in college and become more of a true point guard.

myles turner chooses texas number 2 in the 2014 class
http://www.star-telegram.com/2014/04/30/5780992/top-hoops-recruit-myles-turner.html
the & foot center from texas himself will stay in his home state most likely a one and done turner is hes walking to a veteran group in texas with alot of expierence. texas is returning every single player on there roster.Turner left offers standing like Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, SMU and Texas A&M.some great programs with inside players that texas already has he will only make the longhorns better next year.Hes a great shotblocker and a offensive problem for opposing coaches. alot of people were expecting him to go to kansas since they have some holes to fill in the position to the nba draft. but he decided texas was the place alot to do with his sister saying in a covo they had. " trinity didnt make the playoffs till you came maybe you can do the same for texas. so the seven foot center chose texas itll be intresting to see how well he does and if he can deliever and get them to the big dance.

The Otsego basketball team with 7" center Seth Dugan came to Vicksburg ranked 6th in the state. It was homecoming in Vicksburg and the Vicksburg Bulldogs game them a game to remember. We (Vicksburg) were ahead in the 3rd quarter and only down by four with two minutes to go. In fact if we hit a couple more free throws and take care of the ball we would have won the game.

Sturgis Basketball Defeats Marshall

The Sturgis varsity boys basketball team defeated the Marshall boys team last Tuesday. I have been following their team on the internet because it is the first team we play in the district play-offs. I am hoping we can win districts this year for the first time in a long time in Vicksburg. The Sturgis team has two pretty good players. One player is an all-state forward that is going to Western next year to play football. Hopefully we can beat them to move to the district championship. We play next Wednesday in Three Rivers.
